We offer bends for all tube shapes and sizes we manufacture, in all orientations, directions and to almost any radius. There are three different ways we manufacture bends.
Machined Tight Radius Bends
Computer machined from a solid block to very high accuracy and finish.
These are very tight radius bends.
Section Rolled Tight Radius (Filled) Bends.
These bends are polymer filled, section rolled to a tight radius (radius dependant on shape, size, wall thickness and material), polymer dissolved out, cleaned and then cut. Invariably they are section rolled to the required radius, cut oversize (eg. 85 degrees instead of 80 degrees) and supplied as a welding bend, where the straight is welded to each end by the fabricator. These bends do not
change their cross sectional shape nor dimensions
when rolled.
Section Rolled Unfilled Bend
As above but without filling. The shape, size, wall thickness and material will dictate the amount of deformity and radius able to be achieved with an acceptable level of cross section change.
